Concert Choir to perform at Dorian Festival

The Concert Choir has been invited to appear as the featured guest solo performing ensemble for the Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College.
This prestigious festival is the one of the largest select high school choral events in the world, involving 1,300 students in the Dorian Choir.
The concert will be held at 7:00 pm on January 8, 2012, and is open to the public.
The Chamber Choir and Craig Bergan each earned the "Outstanding Performance" Award (given to less than 1% of all entries)
MCHS Vocal Music earned 25 Division I Superior Ratings and 7 Division II Excellent Ratings on a rating scale of I-V:

The Mason City High School Concert Choir performed at the
prestigious "International Habaneras and Polyphony Competition" in Torrevieja, Spain July 22-30, 2010.
Considered one of the most important competitions of its kind in the world, this festival presents
prominent choirs from all over the world to an audience of thousands of people in a week long event.
Mason City was the only choir from the United States, and the only ensemble selected from North America.
